​Orlando di Lasso and his parody masses on erotic chansons

The concert deals with a very polemical topic in the Renaissance. Orlando di Lasso (1532-1594) is considered one of the greatest masters in music history. In flagrant violation of the decrees of the Council of Trent, he composes several Masses based on erotic songs that were very popular at the time. The program consists of excerpts from Masses on the songs "Entre vous filles de quinze ans", "Susanne ung jour" and "Frère Tibaut".
